With similar settings, mostly HIGH, SkyMax Pro and a lot of addons to make Xplane nicer and a complex plane, trying the E190 and the Zibo 737РІР‚В¦ I was amazed to see 48-50 FPS with my Reverb G2 using SteamVR at 100/100. With my 2080TI, i9 3.8Gz, 128GB RAM and M2 Drive I started to think that I was on an РІР‚СљoldРІР‚Сњ hardware, not capable of driving the desired performance so I decided to remove the dust from my Xplane. When I check my CPU and GPU usage nothing is maxing out, plenty of room there.

I lately upgraded to the latest nvidia driver which pushed 2 extra FPS but within the airport areas it drops below 20 and my VATSIM connection drops. I posted a couple of questions and comments started to point that probably the problem was on my settings but I doubt it, I havent changed much on my side. The latest hotfix, maybe related to the offscreen pre cache, it has become a hardly 20 FPS experience with a lot of stutters. With each version and hotfix the FPS started dropping.

At the beginning the performance of my G2 Reverb has been acceptable with settings in Mid-High, 100/80 and all the tweaks that you can find on the forum with 457.30. Our goal with the settings has been РІР‚Сљno wrong answersРІР‚Сњ in terms of how you can config the sim, something we definitely did not have before.I was using MSFS since day one, since the new VR option I hardly stopped flying it and I love it. The counter balance of more settings is the users who donРІР‚в„ўt understand what the settings do and therefore effectively set them randomly and then complain that X-plane РІР‚Сљlooks terrible and is really slow.РІР‚Сњ We use to hit this over and over and over and over РІР‚вЂњ it was a constant source of stubbed toes among new users coming to the sim. The counter balance of this is not a group of users who will vocally say РІР‚Сљwe want less settingsРІР‚В¦we hate settings so much that we are going to go find a poll asking for more settings among a group of users who really like to tweak the sim and jump in and go РІР‚Сљno no not that please.РІР‚Сњ The users who want this have been incredibly vocal, so the problem isnРІР‚в„ўt РІР‚Сљwe need to be even more vocal because LR didnРІР‚в„ўt notice our previous very vocal, um, vocalizations.РІР‚Сњ СЂСџв„ўвЂљР”Сћ. We already know that some of uor users want a lot more settings. If we did a Poll you may find 80/90% users would agreeРІР‚В¦ would that be enough to tell the team what РІР‚Сњ what we want РІР‚Сњ no headway has been made so lets look at it from a different approach, i think the Holy grail is to give us control of things like sky texture resolutions, airport cars, buildings etc, i think it will remove most of your complaints of systems crashing, failings, fps, stutters etcРІР‚В¦ Not having a moan i just think enough is enough with the stutters now. if i did this the sim is no longer Stock so support is out of the questionРІР‚В¦ and why would you want us all to hack the game in the first place relying on 3d party lau scripts? your settings and so BOLD and basic we cannot tailor the sim to what our system likesРІР‚В¦. Can you please please please give us an option to Lower the cloud resolutions and some more control of what is being displayed. The problem has not gone away in many many months ben and its reported evey time by so many members. This stutter problem has been one of the Biggest and main problems for me and many othersРІР‚В¦Р”В¬learly x-plane is pushing to much for 11G V-ram and a i7 9700K Ghz Seems to get worse as i get close to the clouds, this problem went away in B9 but sins has returnedРІР‚В¦ all stock with no mods.
